Upsells are built in a three-step wizard — Trigger → Offer → Style. This guide creates a simple post-purchase offer: after any customer pays, they see one discounted add-on product they can accept in one click.
Make sure the post-purchase page is enabled first — see Installation & setup.

Create the upsell

Go to Upsells and click Create upsell.

Step 1 — Trigger

  1. Under Name this offer for your own reference, enter something like Post-purchase add-on. Customers never see this name.
  2. Under Select Upsell Trigger, choose Post Purchase Upsell.
  3. Under Show Upsell offer when → Customer orders, keep Any products so the offer shows for every order.
  4. Click Save (Next Step).

Step 2 — Offer

  1. Click Select products and pick the product to offer.
  2. Set a discount — for example Discounted in percentage with 15. Discount values must be whole numbers.
  3. Optionally enable Exclude products already in customer’s order so buyers aren’t offered something they just bought.
  4. Leave Upsell offer #2 and Downsell offer off for now.
  5. Click Save (Next Step).

Step 3 — Style

  1. Review the live preview and adjust the Message section’s title (the countdown Timer is on by default at 15 minutes).
  2. Pick a Color scheme and Layout in the Upsell products section, and set the CTA Text and Decline Text.
  3. Click Save and publish.

Test it

Place a test order on your storefront and pay for it.
After payment — before the thank-you page — you should see your offer. Accept it and the product is added to the order without re-entering payment details.
Post-purchase offers only appear for supported payment methods — when testing, pay with a regular credit card checkout rather than a wallet or third-party gateway.
