# Quick start: set up your cart

> Turn on the drawer, add a free-shipping rewards bar, and add your first upsell — in about 10 minutes.

This guide sets up the three things most stores want on day one: the
drawer itself, a free-shipping progress bar, and one upsell.

  <Step title="Open the cart editor">
    In the app, go to **Cart**. The left side lists everything you can
    change (Header, Body, Footer, General). The right side shows a live
    preview — every change appears there instantly, before your real
    store changes.

    <Tip>
      Nothing goes live until you click **Save**. Feel free to explore —
      you can always click **Discard**.

  <Step title="Pick your colors">
    Open **General**. Choose a **Color theme** (Forest green, Black, Red,
    Orange, Tangerine, Lime, Green, Blue, Purple, Magenta, Sage — or
    **Custom** for your exact brand color). Set the **Roundness** to
    match your theme's corner style.

  <Step title="Set up the rewards bar">
    Open **Body → Promotions progress bar**. A default tier is already
    there — set its **Min. price** to your free-shipping threshold (for
    example `50`) and its **Reward type** to **Shipping discount**.

    The bar now tells shoppers things like "Spend \$12 more for free
    shipping" and fills up as they add items. See

  <Step title="Add an upsell">
    Open **Body → Product upsell**. Choose your product source:

    * **Smart AI Recommendations** — Shopify picks related products
      automatically. Zero maintenance.
    * **Choose Upsell Products Manually** — you pick the products, and
      can add a discount to each.

    For a first setup, keep **Smart AI Recommendations**.

  <Step title="Activate and save">
    Turn the **Status** toggle at the top to **Active** and click
    **Save**.

  <Step title="Test on your store">
    Add a product on your storefront.

      The drawer opens with your colors, the progress bar counts toward
      free shipping, and an upsell carousel shows related products.
