# Gift wrap

> An optional paid gift-wrap add-on in the cart.

**Gift wrap** adds an optional paid add-on to the cart footer — perfect
around holidays. Find it under **Footer → Gift wrap**.

It works exactly like
[shipping protection](/cart-drawer/cart/shipping-protection): the app
creates a hidden Shopify product for the charge ("Enable Gift Wrap +
click Save to create the Shopify dummy product") and keeps its price in
sync automatically.

## Settings

* **Product image** — shown on the gift wrap product in the cart
* **Title** and **Price**
* **Colors** — section background and text

<Tip>
  Enable it seasonally — upload a festive image in November, switch the
  section off in January. Your settings are kept for next year.
