# General settings

> Cart position, behavior, color themes, and roundness.

The **General** group holds the drawer-wide settings.

## Position & behavior

| Setting                         | What it does                                                                                                      |
| ------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Cart position                   | **Slide from right** or **Slide from left**                                                                       |
| Open cart drawer on add to cart | Opens the drawer automatically whenever a shopper adds a product — the standard, recommended behavior             |
| Use product compare-at price    | Shows compare-at prices with a strikethrough on cart items, which also powers the savings banner and Saved badges |

## Color theme

Pick one of the built-in themes — **Forest green**, **Black**, **Red**,
**Orange**, **Tangerine**, **Lime**, **Green**, **Blue**, **Purple**,
**Magenta**, **Sage** — or choose **Custom** and set your exact brand
colors (**Background** and **Accent**).

## Roundness

One slider controls the corner rounding across the whole drawer, so
buttons, cards, and inputs all match. Set it to match your theme —
sharp corners for minimal themes, rounded for softer brands.

<Tip>
  Change the theme first, roundness second, then walk through the
  sections — most section styles inherit sensible colors from the
  theme, so you may need fewer per-section tweaks than you think.

## Empty cart state

Switch the preview's **Cart mode** to **Empty cart** to design what
shoppers see when the cart has nothing in it:

* **Empty cart icon** and **Empty message**
* **Show continue shopping button** with its own **Button text**,
  background and text colors, and **Button action** — **Close cart
  drawer** or **Redirect to custom URL**

<Tip>
  Don't leave the empty cart as a dead end. "Your cart is empty — see
  what's new" with a button to your bestsellers turns a bounce into a
  browse.
