# Discount codes

> Let shoppers apply codes in the cart — and showcase selected coupons.

The **Discount codes** section lets shoppers apply codes without leaving
the cart — and can showcase selected codes so they don't need to
remember them. Find it under **Footer → Discount codes**.

## Settings

| Setting                             | What it does                                                  |
| ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Discount title                      | Shown beside applied discount tags in the cart                |
| Button label                        | The apply button's text                                       |
| Error message                       | Shown when a code fails validation (expired, minimum not met) |
| Show remove control on discount tag | A compact ✕ on the applied code chip                          |

## Available coupons

The standout feature: search your store's Shopify discount codes and
pick which to **show** in the cart. Shoppers see the selected codes with
their conditions ("Min. order \$30" / "No minimum") and apply them with
one tap.

<Tip>
  Showing "WELCOME10 — no minimum" converts far better than hoping
  shoppers remember a code from an email. One visible welcome code is
  the highest-impact setting in this section.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="A code won't apply">
    Your configured error message appears when Shopify rejects the code
    — usually expired, usage-limited, or an unmet minimum. Check the
    code's rules under **Discounts** in your Shopify admin.

  <Accordion title="A coupon disappeared from the list">
    The Available coupons list only shows active discounts — codes that
    expire or get deleted in Shopify drop out automatically.
