# Analytics

> Track upsell performance and add-on revenue: views, add-to-carts, purchases.

The **Analytics** page ("Upsell analytics") shows how much extra revenue
the drawer is generating.

## Summary tiles

| Metric                                   | Meaning                                                                                         |
| ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Views                                    | How many times upsell products were shown to shoppers                                           |
| Added to Cart                            | How many times shoppers added an upsell from the drawer                                         |
| Purchases                                | Upsell items that ended up in paid orders                                                       |
| Upsell revenue                           | Revenue from purchased upsells — in your shop currency and the shopper's (presentment) currency |
| Shipping protection revenue / units sold | What the protection add-on earned                                                               |
| Gift wrap revenue                        | What gift wrap earned                                                                           |

Purchases and revenue are recorded from Shopify's paid-order data, so
they reflect real completed orders.

## The events table

Every event is logged with its date, type (Upsell Viewed / Added to
Cart / Upsell Purchased / Shipping Protection Purchased / Gift Wrap
Purchased), product, quantity, unit price, revenue, and order. Filter by
**Event type**, **date range**, and **page size**.

<Tip>
  The ratio to watch is **Added to Cart ÷ Views**. Below \~5%, try
  different products, a small discount, or switching the AI
  recommendation type from Related to Complementary.
