# Related Products

> A discounted cross-sell block — AI-recommended or hand-picked products with an add-to-cart button.

Related Products renders a **"You may also like" block** on product pages
— each suggested product with its own add-to-cart button and an optional
discount. Suggestions can come from Shopify's recommendations (no
maintenance) or from products/collections you pick.

**Create it:** **Create Offer → Bundle → Related Products**. Tabs:
**Offers block**, **Design**, and **Settings** (this type has no
Deal-settings card — just combinations and schedule).

### When to display

Which product pages show the block (the tags option is available here):

The **When to display...** card decides which product pages show the
offer. Choose under **Applies to:**

* **All products** — the offer renders on every product page
* **All products except selected** — everywhere except the products you
  pick
* **All products except selected collections** — everywhere except the
  collections you pick
* **Products in selected collections** — only products in the selected
  collections
* **Specific selected products** — only the products you pick
* **Products with specific tags** — products carrying any of the tags you
  enter (comma separated)

For product/collection modes, type in the search field or click **Browse**
to open the Shopify picker.

<Note>
  The **Products with specific tags** option is available for quantity
  breaks, quantity discounts, volume discounts, and Related Products — the
  bundle forms don't offer it.

### What to display

Where the suggestions come from:

* **AI Recommendition (Recommended)** — Shopify's Product
  Recommendations API picks related products live; nothing to maintain
* **All products except selected**
* **All products except selected collections**
* **Products in selected collections**
* **Specific selected products**

Switching the source clears the previous selection.

### Discount

**None**, **Percentage discount**, or **Fixed amount for each product**,
with the **Value** field.

## Design tab

This type's widget text lives on the Design tab: **Block title** (default
`You may also like`) and **CTA button text** (default `Add`). Then:
**Themes** carousel, **Borders** (block / product image / CTA border
sizes and radii), **Spacing** (inside/outside top and bottom, 0–60),
**Colors** (including **Next product button** for the carousel arrow),
and **Typography**.

  Changes preview live in the **Product page preview** panel as you edit.

## Settings tab

Under **Combinations**, control whether this deal stacks with other
Shopify discounts — **Deal combines with other store discounts:**

* **Order discounts**
* **Product discounts**
* **Shipping discounts**

Untick a class to prevent the deal from combining with discounts of that
class at checkout.

Under **Schedule**, choose how long the campaign runs:

* **Run campaign continuously** — the campaign runs until you deactivate
  it
* **Run campaign on schedule** — the campaign runs between the selected
  dates: set **Start date** and **Start time**, and optionally tick
  **Set end date** to add an **End date** and **End time** (times pick in
  30-minute increments; past dates are disabled)

## Use cases & examples

    Target the equipment collection in **When to display...**, source
    **Products in selected collections** → Accessories.

    Use **Products with specific tags** with the `clearance` tag —
    placement follows your tagging workflow automatically.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="The block doesn't appear">
    Check the **Yuko Extension** embed (red **Not Visible** badge =
    disabled), the **When to display...** rule, and offer status. For
    manual placement, the theme editor block is **Yuko Related
    Products** on product templates.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="AI mode shows nothing on some pages">
    Shopify needs recommendation data for the viewed product — young
    stores or new products may not have it yet. Switch the source to a
    curated mode for those cases.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The discount doesn't apply to added items">
    Check **Combinations** against the rest of the cart, and remember
    **None** is a valid source setting — the block can run without any
    discount.
  </Accordion>
