# Quantity Breaks & Free Gifts

> Buy More, Save More tier tables with optional free gifts per tier.

The classic **Buy More, Save More** offer: a tier table on the product
page where the price updates automatically as customers pick a quantity —
optionally attaching **free gifts** to any tier. This is the only offer
type that starts from the **Select template** gallery, so you begin with a
designed look and customize from there.

**Create it:** **Create Offer → Quantity Breaks & Free Gifts → pick a
template → configure**. The editor has three tabs: **Offers block**,
**Design**, and **Settings & Schedule**.

## Offers block tab

### When to display

The **When to display...** card decides which product pages show the
offer. Choose under **Applies to:**

* **All products** — the offer renders on every product page
* **All products except selected** — everywhere except the products you
  pick
* **All products except selected collections** — everywhere except the
  collections you pick
* **Products in selected collections** — only products in the selected
  collections
* **Specific selected products** — only the products you pick
* **Products with specific tags** — products carrying any of the tags you
  enter (comma separated)

For product/collection modes, type in the search field or click **Browse**
to open the Shopify picker.

<Note>
  The **Products with specific tags** option is available for quantity
  breaks, quantity discounts, volume discounts, and Related Products — the
  bundle forms don't offer it.

### Offer title

The block heading shown above the tiers, with an eye toggle to hide it and
a checkbox **Add horizontal line on both sides of offer title** for the
strikethrough style.

### Tiers

Tiers appear as tabs (**Tier 1**, **Tier 2**, …) with **Add another tier**
and a per-tier trash button. Each tier has:

| Field                  | What it does                                                                                                                                  |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Title                  | Shown on the product page, in the cart, and at checkout                                                                                       |
| Quantity               | The exact quantity this tier represents — must be unique across tiers                                                                         |
| Discount type          | **Percentage**, **Fixed amount**, or **Final tier price**                                                                                     |
| Discount value         | The `%` or currency value (percentage capped at 100)                                                                                          |
| Subtitle               | Secondary line under the title                                                                                                                |
| Selected by default    | Pre-selects this tier on the storefront (exactly one tier holds it)                                                                           |
| Label type             | Attention label style: **Flat**, **Star**, **Oval**, **Top**, or **Rectangle**                                                                |
| Label / Badge          | Label and badge text, each with an eye toggle to show/hide                                                                                    |
| Add image / Edit image | Per-tier image: **None**, **Show variant image**, or **Upload custom image**, with **Size** (20–100px) and **Corner radius** (0–50px) sliders |

<Warning>
  With **Final tier price**, make sure the amount doesn't exceed the
  product price × quantity — otherwise the customer won't be eligible for
  a discount.

### Free gifts

Tick **Add gifts with tier** on any tier and select gift products. Each
gift row has a quantity (default 1) and a gift label (default
`+ Free gift`). Gifts are added automatically when the customer buys that
tier's quantity.

## Design tab

Pick a **Color theme** — **Default**, **Red**, **Orange**, **Lime**,
**Green**, **Blue**, **Purple**, **Magenta**, or **Custom** — then
fine-tune layout (Vertical/Horizontal), radio visibility, sliders,
paired color pickers for every element (including gift text/background),
and typography.

## Settings & Schedule tab

**Pricing** — **Show total price** or **Show price per item**.

**Additional settings**

* **Let customers choose different variants for each item**
* **Show quantity selector** with a **Quantity selector label** (default
  `Select Quantity`)
* **Apply discount if customer selected quantity exceeds tier quantity**
  — quantities between tiers get the nearest lower tier's discount
* **Preview out of stock message** and the **Out of stock message** text
  (default `SOLD OUT`)
* **Hide currency**

**Combinations**

Under **Combinations**, control whether this deal stacks with other
Shopify discounts — **Deal combines with other store discounts:**

* **Order discounts**
* **Product discounts**
* **Shipping discounts**

Untick a class to prevent the deal from combining with discounts of that
class at checkout.

**Customer eligibility rules**

**Customer eligibility rules** restrict who gets the offer. Choose
**All customers** or **Specific customer segment**, then click **Add
rule** — multiple rules combine with **AND**:

| Rule                                | What it checks                                                           |
| ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Customer's status                   | Customer must be logged in or logged out to qualify                      |
| Customer's tags *(logged-in only)*  | Choose which customer tags qualify — include or exclude, comma separated |
| Country                             | Customers using your shop from specific countries — include or exclude   |
| Amount spent *(logged-in only)*     | Minimum spend / Maximum spend across past purchases                      |
| Orders completed *(logged-in only)* | Minimum order / Maximum order count to qualify                           |

<Note>
  Tag, spend, and order-count rules only work for **logged-in customers**
  — guests can't be matched against their history.
</Note>

**Schedule**

Under **Schedule**, choose how long the campaign runs:

* **Run campaign continuously** — the campaign runs until you deactivate
  it
* **Run campaign on schedule** — the campaign runs between the selected
  dates: set **Start date** and **Start time**, and optionally tick
  **Set end date** to add an **End date** and **End time** (times pick in
  30-minute increments; past dates are disabled)

## Use cases & examples

    Target **Specific selected products**, add three tiers with
    quantities 1 / 2 / 3 and **Percentage** discounts 0 / 10 / 15. Mark
    the middle tier **Selected by default** to anchor the choice.

  <Accordion title="Free gift at the top tier" icon="gift" description="Buy 3, get a travel-size freebie added automatically.">
    On the Tier 3 card, tick **Add gifts with tier** and pick the gift.
    The default `+ Free gift` label shows next to it on the storefront —
    and it's added to the cart automatically.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Rounded bundle pricing" icon="tag" description="2 for exactly $50 with Final tier price.">
    Use **Final tier price** with value `50` on the quantity-2 tier for a
    clean "2 for \$50" — check the price × quantity warning before saving.

  <Accordion title="Wholesale-only tier table" icon="warehouse" description="Show the offer only to logged-in, tagged customers.">
    In **Customer eligibility rules**, choose **Specific customer
    segment** and add a **Customer's tags** rule for `wholesale` — guests
    and untagged customers see the normal product page.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="The tier table doesn't appear on the product page">
    * Check the **Yuko Extension** app embed is enabled — a red **Not
      Visible** badge in the Offers list means it isn't.
    * Confirm the product matches the **When to display...** rule, the
      offer status is **Active**, and no schedule keeps it inactive.
    * If another active offer covers the same products, the overlap
      banner ("Oops! Yuko identified issue...") tells you which offers
      conflict — deactivate one.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The discount doesn't apply in cart or checkout">
    * Check **Combinations** — if the customer has another discount of a
      class this deal doesn't combine with, one of them won't apply.
    * For **Fixed amount**: an amount larger than the product price
      prevents adding to cart.
    * Check **Customer eligibility rules** — tag/spend/order rules only
      match logged-in customers.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Quantities between tiers get no discount">
    Enable **Apply discount if customer selected quantity exceeds tier
    quantity** — quantity 4 then earns the tier-3 discount instead of
    none.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Free gift isn't added">
    Confirm the gift is configured on the tier the customer actually
    selected, and the gift product is in stock and published to the
    Online Store channel.
  </Accordion>
