# Installation & theme setup

> Install Yuko Bundle Builder & Discounts and enable the Yuko Extension in your theme.

Setup is deliberately light: install the app, enable one app embed, and
create an offer. Offer widgets render automatically on your product pages
— you only add individual blocks if you want to control their exact
placement.

    Install
    [Yuko Bundle Builder & Discounts](https://apps.shopify.com/yuko-bundles-quantity-discount)
    from the Shopify App Store and approve the requested permissions.

  <Step title="Enable the Yuko Extension (app embed)">
    The **Yuko Extension** app embed powers all offer rendering on your
    storefront.

    1. In the dashboard's **Setup guide**, click **Enable extension** on
       the step **Enable Yuko Extension** — it opens your theme editor
       with the embed ready to activate.
    2. Save in the theme editor, return to the app, and click
       **Refresh**.

    <Note>
      Manually: **Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds** →
      toggle on **Yuko Extension**. Its settings include a **Mount
      selector** (default `form[action*="/cart/add"]`) controlling where
      widgets attach on the product page, and a **Custom JavaScript**
      field — leave both at their defaults unless support advises
      otherwise.

  <Step title="Create your first offer">
    Click **Create offer** in the Setup guide (or **Create Offer** in the
    header) — the [quick start](/bundles-discounts/quickstart) walks
    through it.

      Once the embed is Active and an offer is saved, the widget appears
      on the targeted product pages automatically.

## Optional: placing blocks manually

Widgets mount automatically near the add-to-cart form. To control the
exact position, add the matching app block to your **product template** in
the theme editor:

| Yuko Discount         | Quantity breaks / quantity discounts / volume discounts |
| Yuko Bundle           | Fixed Bundle, Mix & Match, AI Bundle                    |
| Yuko Related Products | Related Products offers                                 |
| Yuko Upsell           | The Bundle Builder product-page upsell widget           |

<Warning>
  If the Yuko Extension embed is disabled, offers show a red
  **Not Visible** badge in the Offers list and nothing renders on the
  storefront — this is the single most common setup issue.
</Warning>

Discounts themselves are applied by Shopify Functions installed with the
app (automatic discounts and cart transforms) — no discount codes, and no
extra setup.
